To be the regional leading society recognized for promoting excellence in Public Relations and providing a forum for professionals and experts in the field.
Foundation: The society was launched on 30 November 2006. We wish to express our gratitude to the group of pioneers in the field who have exerted outstanding and diligent efforts, but who did not have the appropriate conditions to formally organize themselves into an association. We have simply completed the progress they have graciously started. May they here find the expression of our profound gratitude and appreciation In light of the increasing significance of public relations, we the practitioners, students, and people with special interest in public relations in Bahrain, the founders of the Bahrain Public Relations Association, agreed on the importance of establishing a professional organization to advance the stature of public relations in the Kingdom.
The Tasks: BPRA has endeavored since its foundation in 2006 to foster the professional interests of public relations practitioners. Its main responsibilities are:
to highlight the important and vital role of public relations in all private and public establishments and companies.
to bring together public relations practitioners in Bahrain.
to advance the professional stature of public relations and provide ongoing professional development to its members and public relations practitioners across Bahrain while upholding a standard of proficiency and code of ethics.
To interact with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and cooperate with them for the benefit and protection of the public interest.
